Designing the 2023 WithPrint calendar
The #ChangeWithPrint calendar was a toolkit to facilitate creative activism in the studio and beyond in 2023. Each month card shares resources, steps and inspiration for how to use creativity as a force for good and make smart, planet-friendly design choices.
Mosa believe that cyclists have the power to transform cities into cleaner, greener, safer and healthier places – better for communities and better for the planet. Their smart docks are installed on existing bike racks and riders can use them for free via the app, providing secure parking and eliminating the need to carry heavy locks.

WithPrint is a print studio that creates a calendar each year as a gift for their suppliers and clients. This year I was part of the team bringing the project to life. I designed the calendar and selected the papers, foils and finishes.

The calendar used lots of interesting sustainable materials such as Notpla seaweed paper, a variety of recycled stocks from G.F. Smith, recyclable foils from FoilCo and recycled plastic from Smile Plastics for the base. We pushed the project further to inspire and facilitate learning and change-making creativity by designing elements such as a small pocket notebook, an environmental statement, a provoking postcard, and a spec sheet all about the impact of the materials we used. Finally the paper we used for the project was carbon balanced through the World Land Trust resulting in the protection of 25m2 of critically threatended tropical rainforest.
